WESTERN LOCOMOTIVE ASSOCIATION
The Western Locomotive Association was founded in 1974 and incorporated in 1999. To join or renew membership of the
Association, the membership application form must be fully completed and signed before being submitted with the appropriate fee to the membership secretary. This provides the WLA with all the information required by the Companies Act. It is kept in written format so as to be readily available by the registrar. It will not be otherwise disclosed or used for other than WLA business without your authority. This form includes your guarantee to contribute £1.00 to the WLA in the event of it being wound up. This guarantee continues for a period of 12 months after ceasing to be a member.
Data Protection Act: Members names, addresses and email details are held on a computer. This information is only used
for WLA administration purposes. If you have any objection to this, please advise the membership secretary.
Membership and Renewals
Please accept our apologies but we have recently been experiencing problems with our website service provider not sending completed Membership Application or Gift Aid Forms through to us for action. As a result we are temporarily only able to accept postal applications. We are in the process of building a new website but this will take several months to complete so please bear with us.
The WLA offers six membership grades as follows:
Adult Membership £25
Senior Membership £10
Junior Membership (under eighteen) £10
Family Membership £30
Life Membership £1013
Family Life Membership £1062
Please download the application form here and send it to the address on the form with your cheque made out to the Western Locomotive Association. If your prefer you can pay using the electronic payment buttons at the bottom of the page but you still need to send the form by post. Please pay by cheque for Junior and Life Memberships.
